6 Things you can do to grow your online presence
A great online presence is one of the most powerful marketing assets a business has. If you are someone that is building or has built an online business then you should know that a good online presence is a must.
Are you looking to update your online presence?
There are many advantages to cultivating your brand on social media, including that it can help you improve your customer service, allow you to communicate with customers and prospects on a new level, and drive traffic to your website.
But the question is, how? Well, it is different for everyone. It depends on you, your business, and your goals. So what I’m going to do is show you the exact steps that I have taken to grow my online presence.
How to grow your online presence
Write an email to my list
Every week I spend time putting together an email with value (like tips, how-to’s, or the latest trends) to send to my email list. Sometimes you must spend time nurturing the list that you have instead of focusing on growing your list. Provide free content that builds trust and shows your knowledge.
A few ideas for an email are, you can talk about what’s going on in your business, teach about a particular topic, send a new freebie, or share a blog post.
This makes it so much easier to then send an email about your product, it won’t feel like you’re selling to your audience.
It will come across more like you’re providing further value or solving a problem for them. The fact that they trust, know, and like you, will make it easier for them to buy from you.

Write a blog post to help your online presence
Content is one of the best ways to boost your traffic to your website. It’s how you provide value to your audience and get found on Google. Blogging allows you to attract potential customers through Pinterest. Pinterest is a place where you can easily drive traffic to your website through visuals.
That’s why I make it a goal to post a new blog every week. First I write down a bunch of possible topics that my niche would be interested in, then I choose one and research about it to find the best-suited keywords that will help my SEO.
In the end the more traffic you get the more you will grow. Most of us love reading about the newest social media tips and trends.
Create new Pinterest Pins
Another goal that I set is to create new Pinterest pins every week. This goes just about hand in hand with writing a blog every week. Once I’ve finished the blog post I immediately create 5 different Pinterest pins.
I’m going to let you in on a little secret. Pinterest is not like Instagram or Facebook, you can reuse your content. You should keep sharing it in different ways – including creating multiple pins for each new product or blog post.
Another thing about creating your own Pinterest pins is that you should try using the same templates with the same font, this way people will start to get to know your style and easily recognize your pins.
Tailwind
Tailwind and Pinterest go hand in hand. I absolutely love Tailwind and it has been a massive time-saver. It’s a tool that allows you to supercharge your Pinterest marketing and business growth, without much effort.
Every week after I’ve posted my blog and created my pins, I schedule my pins on Tailwind.
I fill my Tailwind queue with pins, and they get scheduled to publish on Pinterest at the best times for my audience. That way, I don’t have to spend a lot of time worrying about posting on Pinterest. I usually take half an hour, if not less, to schedule almost a month’s worth of pins, and every week I just add the new ones among the others.
Google Analytics
It’s so important to know where your traffic is coming from. This way I can see what to focus on or what’s working for me or what isn’t.
That’s why each week I check my Google analytics and go into detail about which pages are most popular, which traffic sources are performing best, and how I rank in Google search results.
Knowing where your traffic comes from makes it so much easier to grow my online presence.
Planning
Ahhh I can’t explain enough how much planning can your business grow and your personal growth as well.
I wish I had known earlier how much it would help me because at the beginning of my online business journey I was so stressed and never had a clear vision or the ability to focus on one thing at a time.
But now at the start of every week, I sit down with my Monday blues and morning coffee and I ask myself what I want to accomplish throughout this week. It can be small things like creating an email for my subscribers or even just writing a blog.
Another thing I do is prioritize those tasks for the week, I don’t let the everyday tasks overtake the larger, more income-producing projects.
